Galliard is converting the former Great Scotland Yard into a luxury hotel where rooms will go for up to £10,000 a night. The building was the original HQ for the London police force in 1829, and was where investigations into Jack the Ripper were centred. The building also featured in novels by Charles Dickens and Arthur Conan Doyle.
